Hey guys. today I’m going to show you a very easy side dish. I’m going to show you how to make sauteed garlic green beans. This is so easy to do flavorful and it’s very good for you. It’s healthy, so if you’re trying to keep a balanced diet. This is a perfect side dish for whatever main course that you have. You will absolutely love this.
You’re going to need some olive oil, some garlic, some fresh green beans that I washed. And I snipped both the ends off and some salt and pepper. Additionally, you can add a little cayenne. I’m going to be real quick with this recipe. So let’s go over to the stove and get a cook in. I have a large nonstick skillet and it over medium-high heat.
You don’t want the high too high otherwise because you’ll burn your olive oil. You just drizzle some olive oil on the bottom and add green beans. And You should wait a bit till the pan got heated up. We’re going to season that with salt and pepper. Just want to give these a toss in the oil and. As I said make sure that your heats are not too high. So now the next step is pretty much just cooking these sautéing them until you get your desired texture. I like mine to be a bit more on the crunchy side.
If you like your green beans really soft. Just continue cooking them until they get to that point.
We’ll go on to the next step, so the Sauteed Green Beans it’s right about where I want it maybe. I’m going to add it to the garlic. The reason why I don’t do it, in the beginning. Is that garlic will fall to the bottom of the pan just like it did. And that oil will burn it and whenever garlic browns cut up in small mince pieces it will burn. So I’m going to add cayenne. Like I said you can leave that out and if you like less garlic than go ahead.
So just keep tossing them and that garlic is going to infuse that oil. You can go ahead and turn off your heat because your pans still going to stay warm. Like I said the garlic will turn brown really and you don’t want that to happen. I went ahead and graded some Parmesan cheese on top and that’s optional. I’ll add onion along in with the garlic because it’s just absolutely delicious no matter what you put in here. Is pretty much going to be good as long as there’s garlic.
The good garlic makes everything better perfect. The Cayenne adds a little hit to it and Parmesan cheese adds to the flavor. Because it does have a lot of salt in it so if you are gonna use the Parmesan on top. Make sure you don’t use too much salt when you’re seasoning them up. But other than that’s pretty much it. you have the perfect Sauteed Green Beans side dish on your hands. It’s perfect if you’re trying to do healthy meals every night.

- 3-4 Cloves Garlic Finely Minced
- 2-3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 4 Cups Fresh Green Beans Washed and Snipped
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- ¼ Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- Shredded Parmesan Cheese for topping *Optional
